Look, we get it - nobody actually reads these things. But we're keeping it real with you about how we handle your info when you trust us with your ride.

Here at Igniats Valorium, we're not about collecting a bunch of unnecessary data on you. We only keep what we actually need to fix your car and keep our business running smoothly. That's it. No weird tracking, no selling your info to sketchy third parties.
We're mechanics first, not data miners. Your trust matters way more to us than any marketing scheme.
When you bring your BMW, Porsche, or whatever European beast you're driving to our shop, we're gonna need some basics:
That's pretty much it. We're not asking for your social media passwords or tracking your browsing habits. We've got enough on our plates tuning engines.
We're not doing anything shady with your data. Here's exactly what we use it for:
Scheduling your appointments, ordering the right parts, keeping track of what work's been done. Basic shop operations.
Calling or emailing you with updates, estimates, or when your car's ready for pickup. No spam newsletters unless you specifically ask for them.
Maintaining service records for warranty work and future reference. Trust me, you'll thank us when you need proof of maintenance.
Sometimes we gotta keep records for tax purposes or if there's ever a dispute. It's just covering our bases.
We don't sell your info to marketing companies, we don't share it with competitors, and we definitely don't use it for anything that doesn't directly relate to fixing your car.
We take security seriously - same way we take care of your vehicle. Here's what we do:
Look, no system's 100% foolproof, but we're doing everything reasonable to keep your data safe. Same attention to detail we put into rebuilding your engine.
Our website uses some basic cookies - and no, not the chocolate chip kind (though we wish).
What we use cookies for:
What we DON'T do:
You can disable cookies in your browser settings if you want. Some features might not work as smoothly, but it's your choice.
We're pretty protective of your information, but there are a few situations where we might need to share it:
Sometimes we gotta give them your VIN or vehicle details to order the exact right part. They're not getting your personal contact info though.
When you pay by card, that transaction goes through a secure payment gateway. We don't actually store your full card details on our end.
If you're filing a claim for work we did, we'll share relevant service records with your insurer. Only what's needed for the claim though.
If the law requires us to share something (like a court order or government request), we'll comply. But we'll let you know unless we're legally prevented from doing so.
That's it. We're not selling your info to data brokers or marketing firms. Your data stays in-house unless there's a legitimate business or legal reason to share it.
It's your data, so you've got some say in how we handle it. Here's what you can do:
Wanna see what we have on file? Just ask. We'll show you what data we're keeping about you and your vehicle.
If something's wrong in your records, let us know and we'll fix it. Wrong phone number? Old address? We'll update it.
Want us to delete your info? We can do that, though we might need to keep some records for legal or warranty purposes.
Don't wanna get promotional emails or texts? No problem. Just tell us and we'll take you off the list. You'll still get important stuff about your service appointments though.
Need a copy of your service records for your own files? We can provide that. Great for when you're selling your car or switching shops (though we hope you don't!).
To exercise any of these rights, just give us a call at (416) 555-8247 or shoot us an email at service@igniatsvalorium.info. We'll take care of it.
We don't keep your info forever. Here's our general approach:
If you want us to delete your info sooner, just let us know. We'll do what we can while still meeting our legal obligations.
We're an auto repair shop, so we don't really expect kids to be our customers. Our services aren't directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from minors.
If somehow a kid's info ends up in our system and we find out, we'll delete it. If you're a parent and think we might have your kid's information, contact us and we'll sort it out immediately.
Sometimes we might need to update this privacy policy - maybe the law changes, or we add new services, or we figure out a better way to explain things.
When we make changes, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If it's a big change that affects how we use your data, we'll let you know directly via email or text.
We're not gonna pull any sneaky stuff and quietly change important terms. If we're gonna do something significantly different with your information, you'll hear about it.
Alright, here's the deal on how we work together:
When you authorize work on your vehicle, you're agreeing to pay for the services we provide. We'll give you an estimate upfront, and if we find additional issues, we'll call you before doing extra work. No surprise charges.
Payment's due when you pick up your vehicle unless we've arranged something different. We accept cash, credit cards, and debit. If there's a balance issue, talk to us - we're reasonable people.
We stand behind our work. Parts and labor come with warranties - typically 90 days to a year depending on what we did. If something we fixed fails during the warranty period and it's our fault, we'll make it right. Normal wear and tear or damage you caused isn't covered though.
We'll take good care of your car while it's here, but we're not responsible for items left inside. Also, if you leave your car here for an extended period without communication, we might need to charge storage fees. Don't ghost us.
We're skilled techs, but sometimes unexpected stuff happens with older or modified vehicles. We'll do our best to diagnose and fix issues properly, but we can't guarantee results on especially complex or unusual problems. We'll always be upfront about risks.
Need to cancel an appointment? Just give us a heads up. If we've already ordered parts specifically for your job, you might be on the hook for those costs. Be cool and communicate with us.
If you've got questions about any of this, just ask. We'd rather clear things up before there's a problem.
We operate in Canada and follow Canadian privacy laws, specifically PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act). That's the federal law governing how businesses handle personal information.
If you have concerns about how we're handling your personal information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada:

Look, we know legal stuff can be confusing. If you've got questions about how we handle your data or anything in this policy, don't hesitate to reach out. We're happy to explain things in plain English.
